JPML
Entry Into Force
Amnesty have been campaigning on this issue for 20 years, and after relentless lobbying and campaigning since the early-1990s, this is the first time there is something to celebrate.

A global Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) became international law on 24 December 2014, meaning that every state that has signed-up must now obey strict rules on international arms transfers. This is a step forward to help stem the flow of weapons that fuel bloody conflicts, atrocities and state repression around the world. The Treaty’s rules are simple – if a country knows that the arms about to be sold will be used for genocide, crimes against humanity, or war crimes, then they must stop the transfer.

We at JPML are honoured to have contributed sound and music to this landmark film, using gun sounds donated by the Imperial War Museum, and working with the amazing team of director Nathan Bayliss and Amnesty's Bob Appleby.
