How burning forests melt ice sheets
An informational video from Greenpeace Unearthed looks at the effects of a heavy little particle called black carbon.

We sourced and composed music that would compliment the weighty subject matter without being heavy-handed or overly-emotional, and to let the information presented speak for itself.

We took 3 separate JPML library tracks, blended them and produced additional music to match the shifting tone of the piece, creating an underscore to this pressing topic, highlighting but not overpowering the seriousness of the content.

With forest fires reaching the wider public consciousness, this film sought to be a clear and informative resource looking at just one outcome of increased instances of widespread forest fires.

Produced and narrated by Georgie Johnson, Unearthed looks at the lesser-known half of a positive feedback loop: not only does climate change make fires bigger and badder, those fires are then fuelling climate change.
